Camel's Back Road
The Camel's Back Road is one which is serene, peaceful and quiet, where one can actually just enjoy the features of a hill-station. It is much quieter and pleasanter than the busy Mall Road. A walk is definitely recommended, whether an evening or morning one both are equally enjoyable. It is advisable to stay in hotels located at the Camel's Back Road rather than the Mall Road.Good place that can be visited while you are in Mussorie . Away from the crowd this walk through mountain side offers good view of valley , Shivalik Mountain range view of Himalayas and refreshing. A few meters away after entering Mall road check post point ,one can take a left towards Camel's Back Road .This road is about 2.5 kms and other end of this road meets other end of Mall road ( close to Ruskin Bond book shop ) . Hawa and Mahal view point and a rock formation in the shape of a camel are the main attractions . Tourist vehicles are not allowed in this area .
