Chandubi Lake
Chandubi Lake is situated in the state of Assam, the State of Assam are many tourist places to visit. Chandubi Lake is one of them, formed during the Asaam Earthquake in 1897 and a local further explained that at that time, five mountains had sunken into the ground and hence the name Chandubi- where Chand means five in Khasi and Dubi means sinking.The lake is located at a distance of 64 kilometers from the city of Guwahati , the starting point for most places to visit in Assam, the Chandubi Lake is heaven that campers dream of encircled by dense forests, tea gardens and small villages, the Chandubi Lake is the perfect picnic spot in amidst nature. You can find migratory beautiful birds at this place. The spot is very calm and peaceful, Can connect youself with nature and you will feel acthul peace of mind.Visitors can go for fishing or take boat rides.
