Motorcycle Trip to Rann of Kutch: The Great Rann of Kutch along with the Little Rann of Kutch and the Banni grasslands on its southern edge is situated in the district of Kutch. It is a seasonal salt marsh located in the Thar desert in the Kutch district of Gujarat, India, and the Sindh province of Pakistan. This area has been inhabited by the Kutchi people. The name 'Rann' comes from the Hindi word ran meaning desert. The Hindi word is derived from Sanskrit/Vedic word iri attested in the Rigveda and Mahabharata. This is one of the hottest areas of India - with summer temperatures averaging and peaking at 49.5°C. Winter temperatures reduce dramatically and can below 0°C.

Itinerary :

DAY 1: New Delhi to Nawalgarh :
Leave the chaos of Delhi and ride into the scrub desert of Shekhawati to stay at a heritage restored haveli.

DAY 2 : Nawalgarh to Bikaner :
Enter the Thar desert through its gateway - Bikaner. Again stay at a heritage restored haveli and dip into the regions, folklore, and culture.

DAY 3 :
Explore the richness of Bikaner.

DAY 4 : Bikaner to Jaisalmer :
This is the heart of the Thar desert. Stay amidst the dunes and learn the ways of the nomads.

DAY 5 : Jaisalmer to Barmer :
Ride this spectacular road which is framed entirely by sand dunes. One of the world's most sought-after motorcycling roads.

DAY 6: Barmer to Bhuj :
Ride into nomad country - Kutch. Spectacular ride where sand dunes give way to the vast expanse of salt flats.

DAY 7 :
Free rest day in Bhuj with some local sightseeing.

DAY 8, 9 and 10 : Bhuj to Hodka :
Explore villages around the Great Rann of Kutch.  The villages are home to the unique culture, folklore and music.

DAY 11 and 12 : Hodka to Mandvi :
Dip your feet into the warm clear waters of the Arabian sea and learn the art of traditional shipbuilding, all the while enjoying fresh seafood Kutch-style.

DAY 13: Bhuj to Dhrangadhra :
Move to the Little Rann which is home to the only population of
Wild Ass in the country.

DAY 14 :
Safari to spot Wild Ass herds in the Little Rann.

DAY 15: Dhrangadhra to Udaipur :
The beauty of this city is beyond words.

DAY 16 :
Kick back, relax and explore Udaipur.

DAY 17: Udaipur to Pushkar :
This is the land of mystic Vishnu.

DAY 18 :
Explore Pushkar, laze around at the Pink Floyd Cafe or jump into the melee of the bazaar.

DAY 19: Pushkar to Jaipur :
It is the time to say goodbye to the land of the Maharajahs at the Pink City.

DAY 20: Jaipur to New Delhi :
End of the journey.
