Rajasthan West India Tour Package

It is India's largest state by area which is located on the northern side of the country where it comprises the wide and inhospitable Thar desert. Its capital and largest city is Jaipur located on the state's eastern side. Though a large percentage of the total area is desert with little forest cover. Rajasthan has a rich and varied flora and fauna. The natural vegetation is classed as Northern Desert Thorn Forest which occur in small clumps. The Desert National Park in Jaisalmer is an excellent example of the ecosystem of the Thar desert and its diverse fauna. Seashells and massive fossilized tree trunks in this park record the geological history of the desert. The region is a heaven for migratory and resident birds of the desert.
Rajasthan is also noted for its national parks and wildlife sanctuaries. There are 4 national parks and wildlife sanctuaries. The Ranthambore National Park is one of the finest tiger reserves in the country which is known worldwide for its tiger population and is considered by both wilderness lovers and photographers as one of the best place in India to spot tigers. Tourism is a flourishing industry in Rajasthan. The palaces of Jaipur and Ajmer - Pushkar, the lakes of Udaipur, the desert forts of Jodhpur, Taragarh Fort in Bundi and Bikaner and Jaisalmer rank among the most preferred destinations in India for many tourists both Indian and foreign. Rajasthan is famous for its forts, carved temples and decorated havelis which were built by Rajput kings in Pre - Muslim era Rajasthan. Tourism accounts for 8% of the state's domestic product and has increased employment in the hospitality sector.

Itinerary :

DAY 1 - Arrive Delhi :
On arrival, you will be received by our executive and transferred to hotel. Explore the city on your own. Overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 2 - Delhi sightseeing :
After breakfast, get ready to explore the capital city in two broad divisions : Old Delhi and New Delhi. Visit Qutub Minar, Humayun's tomb, President House, Parliament House, India Gate, Red Fort. Overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 3 - Old Delhi sightseeing - Drive to Mandawa (5 hours) :
After breakfast, discover Old Delhi by covering Red Fort, Jama Masjid and Raj Ghat. In noon, drive towards Mandawa which is the "land of shekha's tribe" and also known as "Shekhawati". Check into hotel and overnight stay.

DAY 4 - Mandawa sightseeing - Drive to Bikaner (4 hours):
After breakfast, get ready for the sightseeing tour of Mandawa which is well known not only for its havelis but also for its castle and forts. Some of the mainly visited havelis are Hanuman Prasad Goenka Haveli, Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli and Jhunjhunwala Haveli. Later drive towards Bikaner - "The land of Camels". Check into hotel and overnight stay.

DAY 5 - Bikaner sightseeing - Drive to Jaisalmer (6 hours) :
Early morning enjoy the Bikaner city tour and visit the eye - catching Junagarh Fort and Lallagarh Palace. Later in noon drive towards Jaisalmer which is connecting India among Arabia, Persia and the Mediterranean. Check into hotel and overnight stay.

DAY 6 - Jaisalmer sightseeing in evening Desert Camel Safari :
After breakfast, enjoy sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer covering Jaisalmer Fort also known as Sonar Quila or Golden Fort. Later visit Gadisar Lake - a rain water lake which was the major source of water for the town. After visit Patwon Ji Ki haveli - the biggest and the most sophisticated haveli in Jaisalmer. It is five stories high and widely imprinted and have some minor work and also visit Salim Singh ki Haveli. Later in evening, visit the sand dunes and enjoy Camel Safari and spend evening around the campfire with ethnic dance and musical performances by the professional singers. Back to hotel and overnight stay.

DAY 7 - Depart Jodhpur and Sightseeing (6 hours) :
After breakfast, leave for Jodhpur. Check in at hotel and after relaxing get ready for the sightseeing tour. Visit Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada. Overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 8 - Depart Mt. Abu / Sightseeing (6 hours):
After breakfast, drive towards the hill station of desert region. "Mount Abu" placed 4000 feet above the sea level with lush green flora and fauna. It is a great place for relaxation. Check in hotel and get relaxed. In evening,  visit Dilwara Jain Temple Complex, Nakki Lake - enjoy the boat ride. Overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 9 - Mt. Abu - Ranakpur - Udaipur (5 hours):
After breakfast, leave towards Udaipur; considered as the romantic city in India. Enroute visit Ranakpur famous for its Jain Temples devoted to Adinath. Check in hotel and get relaxed. In evening, enjoy the boat ride on Lake Pichola and travel around the vibrant bazaar of Udaipur - city of lakes. Overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 10 - Udaipur sightseeing :
Today enjoy the sightseeing tour of Udaipur covering City Palace which is placed along the eastern shore of Lake Pichola and is decorated with the combination of Rajputana and Mughal architecture. Also visit Sahelion ki bari, Fateh Sagar Lake, Puppet show at Bharatita Lok Laka Mandir - museum having collection of the folk outfits, ornaments, dolls, musical instruments etc. Overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 11 - Udaipur / Kota (270 kms) :
Drive to Kota - buisness state of Rajasthan also known for its antique palaces, havelis and forts. Check in hotel and get relaxed. In noon, enjoy sightseeing tour of Kota covering Rao Madho Singh Musuem. Enjoy boat ride on Chambal river. Overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 12 - Kota / Ranthambore Game Viewing (110 kms) :
After breakfast, drive towards the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve - lush green forest situated on the connection of the mountain ranges of the Vindhyas
