About Kheerganga trek
Kheerganga (3050 meters) lies on the extreme end of Parvati valley and the last inhibited village while trekking to pin valley via Pin-Parvati pass. Kheer Ganga remains snow-covered during winters and only gets temporary settlement during summers. Kheer Ganga is a holy place with a hot water spring, a small temple of Lord Shiva, and a bathing tank. It makes a rare combination for any trekker to bath in hot spring water when everything is covered by snow.
Kheerganga weather is very soothing for trekking. Though in monsoon it becomes a bit difficult for Kheerganga trekking. Though Kheerganga trek in July or August during peak monsoon is quite famous. Similar trek like Kheerganga is Hampta Pass Trek, Malana trek, Triund trek, Chandratal Lake Trek, Bhrigu Lake Trek, Jogini Waterfalls trek. Kheerganga trek in December is different from September or October kheerganga trek as it generally starts to snow by December. Kheerganga trek distance is 14 km in total from Barsheni.

Kasol to Kheerganga Trek Itinerary:-
Day 01 : Kasol to Kheerganga
Reach Kasol by 10 AM. From Kasol base after freshening upstart journey to Barsheni. It will take another hour to drive to Barsheni and from there Kheerganga trek will be started. It’s approximately 4-6 hours trek and steep climbing is included in the trail. So you will reach Kheerganga top via Rudranag by 4 or 5 PM in the evening. Kheerganga trek is famous for its unbelievable beauty and stunning Himalayan views. After reaching Kheerganga by evening, bath at Kheerganga hot spring and overnight stay in tents. During monsoon and winter homestays will be provided for safety.
Day 02: Kheer Ganga - Barsheni - Kasol
Get up early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise. Take a bath in the hot spring again and after breakfast start a backward journey to Barsheni. From Barsheni you will be taken to Kasol.

Delhi to Kheerganga Day wise Travel Itinerary:-
Day 01: Delhi - Bhuntar (570 KMS) - Kasol
Delhi At sharp 6:30 pm Depart from Delhi to Bhuntar. Travel by overnight AC Volvo bus from Delhi to Bhuntar (12 - 14 Hours). (Kasol is also famous for adventure sports like hiking, mountaineering, rafting, trekking, and mountain biking. In short, Kasol is the "Valley of the Gods" and an ideal place for the ones in search of both adventure and comfort. Reach Bhuntar next morning at 6 - 7 am. Meet our representative and then transfer to the Guesthouse/Camps. On arrival in Kasol After getting refresh and having rest go for half day city tour till the afternoon visiting Later in the evening free to explore the beautiful cafe in kasol. Dinner & Overnight stay at Guest House/Camps.
Day 02: Kheerganga Trek
Trek start for kheerganga in the morning after having a healthy breakfast. Local transfer to Barsheni starting point of Kheerganga trek, It's a 4 to 5-hour trek. Enjoy a hot water spring (Parvati Kund) at kheerganga, the perfect place for nature lovers. Bonfire, Dinner & Overnight stay at the campsite in Kheerganga.
Day 03: Bhuntar - Delhi
This morning after breakfast from the campsite In Kheerganga return trek to Barsheni then local transfer to Bhuntar for your bus. Say goodbye to “The Land of Gods” and proceed to Delhi by VOLVO Bus at 5:30 PM. The next morning, upon Arrival in morning at Delhi, The glorious tour to the heavenly Parvati Valley comes to an end. In this way, your visit to one of the paradise on earth located amidst the lofty Himalayas ends offering your glorious memories to cherish for Cherish Always the sweet memories.
Delhi - Kasol - Tosh - Kheerganga Day wise Travel Itinerary:-
Day 01: Delhi to Kasol
Our cab driver will pick up you from your place. Overnight journey to Kasol. It will take 11 hours from Delhi to reach Kasol. You will find yourself connecting with nature in Parvati Valley.
Day 02: Tosh
Morning reaches Parvati valley, Kasol. You will find yourself surrounded by the green lush valley. Parvati valley is all about Peace and calmness. As you are going to check in tosh. So spend some time in Kasol and Gurudwara Manikaran Sahib. You can have a hot spring bath in Marnikarn Shahib. It will take approx. 4 hours to reach Tosh. After reach tosh, you will be at a higher altitude. Evening sunset view is amazing in tosh. You will find more travelers in tosh where everyone feels lost in nature. Snowcapped mountains. View of Pin Parvati. River Parvati furious flowing water making a sound of a hymn. Evening enjoys the campfire on the hotel side. Dinner and overnight stay. GNG Suggestion – Moon night gives a silver shade in mountains. You will good time stargazing in Tosh. Afternoon arrival in Tosh. Click pictures enjoy music, explore higher altitude stay. Tosh is famous for its location and snowcapped mountains view. Enjoy the evening campfire. Have dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 03 : Tosh to Kheerganga
Morning get ready. Click some pictures in tosh. Caption snowy mountain peaks. Have a delicious party in breakfast with hot tea. After breakfast depart to kheerganga. 14 km of a day hike to Kheerganga. On the way to kheerganga, you will cross the village. Where you can have lunch. You will explore some old traditional house routes. A halt in Rudranag. Place where you capture the waterfall in the shape of a snack. Here you can take a rest on the green ground. Amazing view of tosh from Rudranag. You will reach Kheerganga in the Evening. It’s at 12000 feet.
Day 04: Kheerganga - Kasol
Morning enjoys the sunrise in Kheerganga. A hot spring bath is just a foot away from you in Kheerganga. enjoy morning bath and enjoy the realm feel of the peaceful day. Have lunch at the campsite. After lunch head back to Barsheni the start point of the trek. It will take a couple of hours to reach Barsheni. Get on board from Barsheni and reach Kasol. Enjoy your evening time in Kasol. Music and party. Dinner and overnight stay at Kasol.
Day 05: Kasol - Delhi
Morning breakfast and after breakfast check out from the hotel. And depart to Delhi. It will be more than 10 hours of Drive. So get lost yourself in thoughts of the trip and you have surely spent quality moments on this trip.
The trip ends with beautiful memories of Parvati Valley.

Ans 4 - For package drinking water you have to buy on your own. Otherwise, you can carry a bottle and collect fresh mountain water which is used for drinking by locals.
Que 5 - What kind of clothing should we carry for the Kheerganga trek?
Ans 5 - At night the temperature will be quite low. So always carry a good jacket in the non-winter season. In winter there is a chance of snowing and the temperature will fall. So apart from a good jacket carry 2-3 full sleeve t-shirts, 2 track pants, 2-3 pairs of thick soft socks along with a skull cap to protect ears and neck from cold.
Que 6 - I need a place to keep my luggage before the trek starts. Also, do I need a freshening up facility before the trek?
Ans 6 - You can keep your luggage in reporting place and after completing the trekking you can collect the same and start your return journey. A common freshening-up facility will be provided before the trek starts.
Que 7 - the Bathing facility will be available?
Ans 7 - At Barsheni, there will be a common washroom. At Kheerganga top no bathing facility will be available. People take a dip in the hot spring reservoir there.

Ans 8 - No Kheerganga trek is not a difficult trek. It’s a perfect trek for a beginner.
