Mr. Bikaram Singh, Regional Meteorological told that snowfall at the height of 3000 meters took place in most of the areas of Uttarakhand. Many tourists are heading towards Auli, Rishikesh, Haridwar, Mussoorie, Kanatal, Dhanulti, Nanital, Jim Corbett to enjoy the weather since summer holidays in schools has started and cases of covid19 are also going down day by day. Tourists have started enjoying paragliding in Mussoorie, River Rafting in Rishikesh, Bungee Jumping, Giant Swing, and Flying Fox with Ganga River Side Camping. The Snowfall took place on mountains at the height of 3000 meters which was earlier at 2500 meters around one week earlier. The Snowfall took place in the early morning hours on the mountains and the spell continued till evening. The Number of Covid 19 cases reported in Uttarakhand was 96 but the number of deaths was Zero, Where the number of samples tested was 7152, and the Number of people who got vaccinated was 11457.
